Eagles Trap Coyotes

Lady Eagles Defeat Denair 64-25

The Lady Eagles traveled all the way to Denair High School for the last game between the two teams this season. The result was similar to their other two meetings as TC defeated the Coyotes 64-25. The game was never close as the Eagles dominated both on offense and defense. Erin Santiago had another outstanding scoring night making 6 of 8 three point attempts and tying her season high of 25 points along with a game leading 7 steals and 5 assists. Amy Wright also had an excellent night with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Great game girls:~)

JV ONE WIN AWAY FROM PERFECT SOUTHERN LEAGUE RECORD

The Eaglets won their 14th league game in a row. The Denair Coyotes gave the Baby Birds a scare as they were as close as 5 points in the second half. Tough defense and timely scoring fought off Denair's comeback. Great job Eaglets:-)

PLAY-OFF PICTURE

With every victory the Lady Eagles move up in the Division V power rating. TC is seeded 4th in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division V this week. To see who we would be playing if the tournament started today look at the "MOCK" tournament below. The Eagles could move up to 3rd if Sacramento Waldof were to lose their last 2 games, which is unlikely but possible.
