Long Time No Blog

Busy, busy, busy describes my absence from the blog.

The team has been doing great since I last sent out a blog. They continue to dominate Southern League foes and pretty much have the league title unless there is a total meltdown. The last Southern League title was a tie with LeGrand in the 2006/2007 season. If the Lady Eagles can continue to win this will be the first time they are at the top of the league without sharing the title.

The first preliminary seeding came out for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 5 tournament and Turlock Christian is the top seed. Despite a lose to number two seed Bradshaw Christian early in the season the Eagles have draw the higher seed due to the strength of the Southern League. Bradshaw plays in a league with only very small Christian schools. If the tournament started today TC would be playing Lodi Academy.

Thursday's game against LeGrand is very important. If TC wins and then wins out they will remain the number 1 seed in the section tournament. If the Eagles were to loss then Bradshaw Christian would probably become the number 1 seed. Take the drive to LeGrand, go south on 99 about 40 miles, turn left at LeGrand Road and go until you see the high school on the right. See ya there:-)

Here are some "cool" stats:

• Molly Farrar is averaging the more assists per game (4.7) than any player in the last 6 years.
