JV & Varsity Sweep Delhi

JV downs the Hawks:

The TC Lady Eaglets began the night at Delhi with an impressive win. The score was football like at half-time, TC with 3 field goals and Delhi with a touchdown and extra point (for those with limited football knowledge that is a 9 to 7 score). Coach Wright came out in the second half with the full court press and the girls pounded the Hawks. This observer noticed some excellent play by Natalie at the point, Paige stealing and rebounding all over the place, Ashley blocking shots, Alana hitting the jumpers, and the team looking great in the second half. Great job JV:-)

Lady Eagles beat the Delhi Hawks

The TC varsity improved their record to 10 wins and 4 losses as they beat the Hawks at the Delhi gymnasium 53 - 15. The game was never out of doubt as the multi-talented Eagles overwhelmed their opponent. Delhi did not know what to do as the Eagles came after them wave after wave. The TC defense continued to shine, holding Delhi to its lowest score of the year.

Defensive standouts included:

Defensive Rebounds; Kaisa Spycher (6), Erin Santiago (6), Marly Burton (5) and Molly Zuhlke (4)
Steals: Molly Farrar (4), Emily Bruss or Emily Brusf in the Modesto Bee (4), Kara Gabrielson (3), Candice Balswick (3), and Erin (3)
