Mariposa Cubs Trapped by the Eagles

The Lady Eagles continue to shine as they put the kabash to Mariposa 52 -31 in the mountains on Monday. The Eagles dominated the defensive end of the court. The defense produced 17 blocked shots, six by Marly Burton and five by Kaisa Spycher, 35 defensive rebounds, 13 by Marly, and 19 steals, Molly Farrar and Candice Balswick leading the way with six and five respectively. If took the offense a little time to settle in but then scored 31 points in the second half. Outstanding offensive nights were had by Kaisa scoring 16 points, Molly making 14, and Marly dropping in 9 points. Molly F. turned in a rare "triple double". That's when an athlete has 10 or more in 3 different statistical categories. Molly's triple was 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 --- well if you want to know just go to TC's MaxPrep web page.

I would encourage you all to go to the Denair game, but I'm writing this blog after the Denair game so-----

Go to the Waterford game. It's on Thursday, JV @ 6PM and Varsity right after. To get to Waterford go north on Geer to Yosemite Ave. , the feed store that sales jewelry my wife likes is on this corner, turn right and go to Waterford. Waterford High School is the first high school on the right.

See Ya There.
