The Denair Lady Coyotes came into the Eagle's Nest and almost stole the match on Monday night. The fans were going crazy, the Lady Eagles were playing great, I mean not so good, I mean great --- What I'm trying to say is that it was a rollercoaster of a match. Denair entered the contest with 2 wins and 2 losses in the Southern League and were not intiminated by the taller and more athletic Eagles.
The first game of the match was a shocker as the Coyotes stunned the Eagles with a 25-23 win. Denair served better and continuely returned the big hits by the Eagles. The coaches twicked the line-ups for games 2 and 3 which resulted in TC taking a 2 to 1 lead in the match. Denair, with a never say die attitude came storming back in the 4th game with a 25-17 win to tie the match at 2-2.
The 5th and deciding games had a couple of surpise stars as the "2 MOLLIES" served, dug, and hit ammazing well to lead the team to victory. Molly Farrar was awarded the game ball as she lead the team with 16 service points.
Way to come back Eagles.

Busy Week for the Eagles
What a week. The Lady Eagles played 4 matches, going 2 and 2, in an up and down week.
Megan B blocks while Aubrey L assists against Turlock
Playing Pitman on Monday with a very competitive four game match, eventually losing 1-3. With the exception of the final game the girls played very close to the Pride and with just a few different results the match could have gone to TC.
When Joanna yells the Eagles do:-)
On Tuesday the Eagles played the Turlock High Bulldogs and lost in three straight games. Again the match was much closer then the final score indicated.
Molly Z gets the elevation but not the ball vs Turlock
Thursday night TC played playoff rival Ripon Christian at Ripon and pretty much dominated the match, winning 3-0.
The final match was against Orestimba (Newman) High School. The match was super exciting and the girls really play hard but in the end the Warriors of Orestimba won the match 3 to 2.
Another busy week is on hand this next week with games against Big Valley Christian on Tuesday and Modesto Christian on Thursday. The varsity will be playing at the Golden Valley (Merced) Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
The JV Eaglets give the "tough girl" stare down to the opposing server:-)
