Improved Waterford Falls to the Eagles

The Waterford Wildcats visited "The Nest" and lost the set in three straight. Molly Farrar and Kara Gabrielson started the game at the setter positions since the Muller's had missed practice due to some college visits to Washington and Oregon. Molly F. was excellent at the setting position and Kara was awesome at the hitting those sets. Way to go girls:-)

The Wildcats, though only 1 win in league, played much better then the last time they met the Eagles.

Outstanding Performances Include:

Kills: Andre Morgan and Aubrey Larsson (8) and Kara Gabrielson (4).
Service Points: Johanna Muller (9), Rebekah Muller (7), Aubrey, Megan Brown, and Kaisa Spycher (4 each) and Molly Zuhlke (3).

Molly Zuhlke received the game ball as she was perfect for the night with no errors in 11 ball handling opportunities.

Way to go Lady Eagles.

Bulldogs Attach the Eagles

TC vs Denair 272
Crowd gets ugly at LeGrand game. (Maybe I meant to say, "Crowd is ugly at LeGrand game";-)

WOW! The Lady Eagles battled the LeGrand Bulldogs to 5 games but ended up on the wrong end of the match.
  • LeGrand: 23 25 25 20 16
  • TC 25 19 16 25 14
The Eagles played a very aggressive match as many of the girls had their best hitting nights of the season. Audrey Larrson had a few kills that may have left dents in the Calvary gym floor. When the smoked cleared Audrey led the team with 13 kills while Morgan Andre added 12, Rebekah Muller 9, Kaisa Spycher 8, and Johanna Muller 7. The team had a year best 56 kills, that is a massive amount, yet LeGrand returned attach after attach with their amazing defense. LeGrand did not even attempt to block the majority of attacks and just used great defense to wear the Eagles down.

The team attacked the Bulldogs with a season high 211 attempted kills and a grand total of 56 kills. The Eagles struggled from the service line with 13 errors. A better serving night may have resulted in a victory.

For entertainment value this was the best match of the season.

Great effort Lady Eagles and you'll get them next time:-)

Due to lack of current photos just pretend the girls are playing LeGrand.
